Job Description:

Position Details

Designation: Senior Electrical Engineer – Maintenance
Department: Maintenance
Experience: 10–15 Years
Qualification: B.E. / BTech in Electrical Engineering (Preferred), Diploma in Electrical Engineering (with extensive relevant experience may be considered)

Candidate Profile Required

An experienced electrical maintenance professional with strong exposure to manufacturing industries, preferably geared motor, electric motor, gearbox, heavy engineering, or automotive component manufacturing plants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and execution of preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting of transformers, PCC/MCC panels, UPS, capacitor banks, and power distribution systems.
  • Maintenance of CNC machines, hobbing machines, grinding machines, heat treatment equipment, compressors, hydraulic systems, and material handling equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and maintenance of AC/DC motors, geared motors, servo motors, VFDs, soft starters, and industrial control panels.
  • PLC, HMI, SCADA, sensors, and industrial automation troubleshooting.
  • Breakdown analysis, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CAPA implementation, and reliability improvement initiatives.
  • Energy management and implementation of energy-saving projects.
  • Ensuring electrical safety compliance, statutory requirements, and audit readiness.
  • Leading a team of electricians, technicians, and contractors.

Required Skills

  • Strong electrical troubleshooting capability.
  • Hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, and industrial automation.
  • Knowledge of Siemens, Fanuc, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, or Delta PLC systems.
  • Preventive and predictive maintenance planning.
  • Knowledge of MTBF, MTTR, TPM, and reliability engineering concepts.
  • Experience with maintenance documentation and ERP/SAP systems.
